The Three piece Suite have used the theatrical “Green Room”, as a point of reference, drawing comparison between the activity of rehearsal for actors and the navigation of events in ordinary, daily life. The collaborative approach mimics the community, in which the individual can negotiate a pathway, establish a direction and form a sense of identity in relation to others.
The work will be an installation using neon light titled URIT, acetate prints, and knitted pieces. The group will also create a wall drawing in situ.

As a part of the contemporary art event Annuale 2010, TotalKunst collective is diving into the summer with a gallery project BETAMAPS, a three-week long array/collection/exposition of works that deal with various notions of maps, movements, charts and recordings. The gallery is transformed into a hub for individual mini-projects and events, some of which will use the gallery space and others will happen out in the city or further afield, and only use the gallery as a launch-pad or an info base for the work. The project runs from 14th June to 9th July, with specific events scheduled from 17th July onwards. The planned programme consists of film, sound work and audio tours, several gallery-based installations, drawing-based work, performance and spatial interventions, workshops and gallery talks. The project launch and The Grand Party Night is on Friday 18th June.
